100% Chardonnay, fermented half in in neutral barrels and half in steel tanks. This wine has nice bright acidity and yet soft mouthfeel from barrel aging. No malolactic fermentation.
Monticello Wine Company wines are grown, produced and bottled by Afton Mountain Vineyards. This historic label originated in Charlottesville in 1873 and was re-established by members of the Afton family in 2019.
This is a red blend of 41% Sangiovese, 35% Cabernet Sauvignon and 24% Tannat. Bold and spicy yet smooth, with a persistent finish.
